selfinvite
A Bold Identity to Attract Investors
For years, founders Lorenzo and Jonathan were putting effort into building a revolutionary app that could connect people from all over Europe in real life. The goal was to replace social media interaction with genuine, real relationships.
The competitor landscape was fierce, as social eating apps were booming and earning traction in different customer segments. When the founders contacted us, we immediately noticed that their point of view and vision were much deeper than any other app. So, we set the goal to disclose all the work, strategy, and thought developed over time behind the scenes and make it their unique selling point.
The first month of collaboration was dedicated to understanding the founders’ vision and translating it into a recognisable and attractive brand identity. We put emphasis on their goal to fight rising negative feelings such as loneliness and create connections that fill the soul, adapting it to a vast target audience within the EU. From logo to taglines and typography, every aspect of the new identity expressed togetherness, empowerment, and joyfulness.

After the new brand identity was complete, we focused on building a clear and lean website with two main landing pages: one to show investors how Selfinvite can become the #1 social eating app in Europe and another one to introduce the app to real users, emphasizing its benefits and user-friendly interface. The idea was to give a complete overview of how Selfinvite works and why people should choose it. During this phase, we also created tailored illustrations for the app and App Store preview.
