Francesco Luzi, known as Checco, is a renowned art director with decades of experience in the world of luxury hospitality, including a long tenure at LaBottega, a leading Italian company in hotel amenities. Now working independently under the name CHECCOLUZI, he collaborates with prestigious hotels, such as St.Regis Rome and Villa San Michele Belmond, to craft bespoke collections of gifts, amenities, and accessories designed to surprise guests.

Background

As an independent art director, Checco was managing a wide range of bespoke projects, each involving creative development, custom product design, and coordination with manufacturers. He needed a reliable design partner to support execution across print, digital, and motion who could deliver consistent, high-quality visuals under tight deadlines. At the same time, the lack of a personal website made it difficult to showcase his portfolio, articulate his approach, and attract new clients.

Solution

We became Checco’s go-to partner for visual execution and web development, collaborating closely on projects for leading hospitality brands. Our work spanned a wide range of bespoke deliverables, including tote bags, pyjamas, dispensers, packaging, hats, accessories, and gifting—each tailored to the specific identity of the hotel. Whether brainstorming creative directions, refining visual concepts, or preparing files for production, we provided hands-on support with a flexible, responsive approach.

To strengthen his digital presence, we designed and developed the CHECCOLUZI portfolio website in Webflow. The project included a simple structure, photo and video editing, and an impactful user experience that reflects his creative vision and bespoke approach. The collaboration is ongoing: we continue to update the website with new content and support Checco whenever he needs a trusted design partner for new projects.
