Full-Scale Restyling for an Industry Icon

Since 1995, TAZFOOD has been one of the main suppliers of food amenities and minibar products for the world's best luxury hotels. They had only a few major competitors, and their offering focused on personalized packaging paired with a thoughtful selection of high-quality products like chocolates and nuts.

Before consulting us, the landscape was changing: new competitors were threatening their position, and they were also expanding their offerings, including an in-house laboratory to produce their own gourmet specialties and new product lines.

When we came on board, we recognized that TAZFOOD's biggest asset wasn't the products themselves, but three decades of trusted relationships with luxury hotel managers, an authority that needed to become visible, not just implied, if they were going to defend their position against newer, flashier competitors.

We started with building a brand identity that conveyed elegance, craftsmanship, and authority. We put emphasis on their experienced in-house team and attention to quality at every production stage, making sure every verbal and visual detail spoke to luxury hotel managers. The new identity included a minimalist and timeless logo, a tagline that clearly stated their decades of experience, and a colour palette that immediately conveyed luxury.

We completely rebuilt their website to include the new offerings. We structured it in a way that all TAZFOOD’s creations were clearly differentiated, from food amenities and minibar products to selected gourmet specialties and the new in-house gastronomic laboratory TAZLAB. We made sure each category had its own space while maintaining smooth navigation across pages and great UI and UX. In this way, any client, no matter if longstanding or newly acquired, had a complete overview of all the products and services. Copy and design were also thoughtfully crafted to convey authority and elegance.

I enjoyed working with them and am happy with the experience. They were incredibly communicative and easy to talk to from start to finish. Not only did they deliver on time, but also kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking skilled and cooperative professionals.
